Advanced Polyethylene (UHMWPE) DFNDR Armor products leverage one of the strongest synthetic materials, an Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber-based composite. We work closely with Honeywell Technologies leveraging their advanced fiber-based composites.
Integrated with an advanced Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene composite backing, our armor system leverages millions of high strength fiber filaments, oriented in a unidirectional cross plied pattern that provides exceptional ballistic resistance.
NIJ 0101.04 COMPLIANT
Tested and verified to meet or exceed ballistic resistance as specified under NIJ Standard– 0101.04 plus special threat tested and validated. Testing was completed at an authorized NIJ certified ballistic laboratory.
